What to look for in choosing a body shop in Tucson Arizona- Part 1
Tips on Choosing a Good Body Shop: How do you know what to look for when you’re choosing a body shop?

In order to find the right place, should you focus on finding a place that touts its top quality repairs or is it better to go for someone you trust?
Consider the answer to that question plus some other pointers on selecting the right place to get your car’s bodywork done.
Trust Versus Quality Quality is important, no doubt about it. After all, if a place does poor repairs, then you certainly don’t want to let its employees work on your car. But we believe trust is a more important consideration. You need to know that when the shop manager or employee gives you an estimate or discusses repair work on your vehicle, his word is something you can take to the bank.
For example, what if a particular problem crops up frequently with a specific make or model of car? You want your body shop technician to tell you straight out that you might need to go to the manufacturer rather than pretend he can fix something outside his knowledge area. Only when you find a good body shop with reliable management and staff can you breathe a sigh of relief about your impending car repairs.
Quality is important, yes, but trust is vital. The first time you contact a body shop, think about how they treat you on the phone. Is the phone answered promptly and courteously? Is the manager or technician willing to answer your questions patiently? Are they able to explain things to you clearly so that you understand what work is needed to fix something? Does the estimate make sense?
If you don’t feel comfortable with a shop’s staff on the phone, you’re not going to feel confident about letting them actually work on your car.
Quality and Proper Equipment - Now that you have trust out of the way, you do have to give quality some consideration! Ask questions about the shop if you’ve never been there before to find out if they have the proper equipment to repair your car. Do they have frame machines? What kind of paint spray booth do they have? How many floor lifts per bays are there? Do they have a state-of-the-art dent removal system?
You can also ask about the employees’ qualifications. It’s good to look for a place that can boast ASE, I-CAR, or BASF-certified employees.
O’Rielly’s Collision Center meets all three criteria, and that’s the kind of assurance that means your car will receive a quality repair job by courteous employees for a fair price with plenty of consideration for your convenience. What more can you ask?
